IFMIF-DONES (International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility – Demo Oriented NEutron Source) is a neutron source based on a high-current particle accelerator, which main objective is the development and qualification of materials capable of withstanding extreme conditions at which the components of the first wall of future fusion reactors will be exposed to.
